1.1 Please make reservations in advance of your arrival at the Establishment, to ensure that we are prepared for you. If you arrive unannounced, we may have insufficient room to accommodate you.
1.2 All reservations must be made in writing (by fax or e-mail), stipulating the information requested in our Booking page which is accessible after you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 We also ask you to notify the Establishment of your estimated time of arrival (ETA) and/or your journey's departure point, together with current mobile/cell-phone contact number to help us summon assistance for you in the unlikely case of an emergency.
2. Charges and Invoicing
2.1 Our charges are quoted in Namibian Dollars (N$) - equivalent to South African Rand (ZAR) - per person, per night, sharing accommodation, unless otherwise specified.
2.2 The quoted charges include 15% VAT and Tourism Levies of 1% on Dinner, Bed & Breakfast, and Fully Inclusive, 2% on B&B and Self-Catering, as per Namibian Tourist Board (NTB) legislation.
2.3 With the exception of confirmed reservations, the quoted charges may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control (such as increases in fuel costs or Government taxes / levies).
2.4 All reservations will be confirmed and invoiced according to the quoted charges on the relevant Rates page. If, as the result of human or technical error, the invoiced amount differs from the quoted charges, the quoted charges will remain applicable.
3.1 Unless otherwise stated on the relevant Rates page, children of all ages are welcome at these establishments, however all children remain the full responsibility of their parents at all times.
3.2 Charges for children depend upon their age on arrival, so please supply date(s) of birth of the child(ren) when booking
3.3 Accommodation for children may be limited to certain accommodation categories and is subject to availability.
3.4 Charges for accommodating children will be made as specified on the relevant Rates page.
3.5 Conditions applicable to accommodating children, if any, are specified on the relevant Rates page.
4.1 Upon your receipt of written confirmation of your reservation, we request a deposit payment of 25% of the total invoice amount. The remainder of the invoice will become payable 30 days prior to your arrival at the Establishment.
4.2 We welcome payment by Visa or MasterCard. We regret we are unable to accept other types of credit card at present.
4.3 Alternatively, you may make payments by bank deposit. Please fax or e-mail us proof of payment at the time of payment.
4.4 When making bank transfers, please use the banking details specified on the relevant Rates page.
4.5 If paying by international bank transfer, please ensure that all bank charges are for your account. Short payments will be invoiced and payable by you at the Establishment.
5. Cancellation Charges
These are displayed during the on-line booking process. All cancellations will be confirmed in writing. Your reservation will not be deemed cancelled until you have received that confirmation.
6.1 The Establishment shall not be liable, and shall not be deemed to be in default, for any failure of performance above for any reasons beyond its control including, without limitation, war, warlike operations, armed aggression, insurrection, riots, fires, explosions, terrorism, government acts or omissions, floods, tsunamis, regulations or order, acts of God, acts of the public enemy, epidemics, quarantine, restrictions and / or external labour troubles.
6.2 Failure on your part to comply with any of the terms and conditions set out herein, shall entitle the Establishment at its sole discretion and regardless of booking requirements and payments already received, to cancel or refuse to accept your booking.
