The Bavarian style building, now known as Hilltop Guest House, was originally built as an art
studio in 1954, and converted in 1999 to its present use. Despite incorporating facilities
usually found only in up-market hotels, the owners of the day nevertheless created the
welcoming ambience, intimacy and warmth of a small guest house.
That comforting atmosphere has been maintained, and still prevails today under its new owners
who also plan to restore the building to its former glory by recovering many features of the
original building, lost over the years.
Meanwhile, its family-friendly accommodation, services and warm welcome remain, as ever, at
the same high standards. Hilltop Guest House is located close to the city centre, in a quiet
residential area, perched on top of a hill, with magnificent views over the city and surrounding mountains.
Proximity to the city means shops, restaurants and services are nearby, and airport transfers
are easily arranged.Â
We offer three DeLuxe and three Standard, en-suite rooms, as well as one Standard single en-suite room detached from the main building, with private entrance via stairs at the bottom of the garden. All are spacious and elegantly decorated in individual styles, fully equipped to satisfy all the needs of our Guests.
