Fiume Lodge
Grootfontein
Fiume Lodge is a country lodge located approximately 25 km south of Grootfontein in Namibia’s Otjozondjupa Region. Set within established gardens along a seasonal riverbed, the lodge serves as a practical stopover for travellers moving between Windhoek, Etosha National Park, Waterberg Plateau and northern Namibia.
The lodge offers comfortable accommodation in a relaxed setting and is well suited to overnight stays, small groups, and conferences. Its location and facilities make it a convenient base.

All rooms are fitted with twin beds, a coffee/tea station, en-suite bathroom and a lockable wardrobe to put your personal belongings and an air-conditioning.
2 x Family Room
Room is fitted with2 3/4 beds & 2 single beds for children up to the age of 14
1 x Tented Accommodation
Tented accommodation at campsite with 2 single beds, self catering or bed and breakfast. Toilet/shower ablution block – shared. Braaipit provided and wood fired donkey for hot water. Solar electricity available.
1 x Campsite
One large Campsite that can take up to 4 vehicles in one group with an shower/toilet ablution block per campsite. Braaipit and wood fired Donkey for hot water. Solar electricity is available.
Activities
Sundowner Drive & Drinks
Sundowner drives take place in the late afternoon and last approximately 2.5 hours. The drive explores the lodge’s 1,400-hectare privately owned game farm, offering opportunities to observe wildlife in a relaxed setting. Game species on the farm include giraffe, eland, oryx, zebra, kudu, hartebeest, impala, springbok, blesbok, Damara dik-dik and ostrich, as well as a wide variety of birdlife and smaller mammals.
Driving Instructions
Fiume Lodge is situated south of Grootfontein, just off the B1 main road in the Otjozondjupa Region. The lodge lies on a primary north–south travel route and is easily accessible for guests travelling between central and northern Namibia.
