On the Namibian banks of the Chobe River, just 17kms from Kasane and boasting views into the Chobe National Park sits Serondela Lodge. The lodge takes its name from the famous picnic spot and elephant corridor which is right across the river from the Lodge.
The lodge is a 100% off the grid, eco lodge, which works in very close conjunction with the local communities, ensuring that the local communities benefit from tourism in this remote area of Namibia. All rooms are on high ground on the banksof the Chobe River. The chalets are made out of eco-sand bags that havebeen plastered into the walls, a environmentally friendly technique that helps to ensure better thermal insulation. The spacious chalets each have a privateviewing deck and patio, where guests can relax and observe the herds of elephants,buffaloes and impala as they graze. The rooms have been designed to allowmaximum game viewing with large sliding doors facing the river.

Spot the wildlife of the river,pointed out by an experienced guide, before watching a spectacular African sunset with a drink and nibbles in hand.
Chobe National Park Game Drives
The Chobe National Park game drive isrecommended on the day of check out. Chobe National Park is known for offeringfantastic game viewing opportunities in total wilderness.
Modern Masubia village visit
Guided visits to a local village to learn about the communities living along the river.
Nature walk
The area is wild and remote – ideal for enthusiasts who wish to explore one of the last great wilderness areas, on the banks of the Chobe river. It’s a birder paradise. Subject to safety conditions.

Airport pick up has to be arranged prior to arrival at an additional charge.
Transfers can be arranged on request from Katima, Kongola, Victoria Falls and Livingstone.
